Mr.Elton Haxhi, after 9 years as a CPA sole-practitioner and in leading positions with Big4 companies, establishes together with Prof.Doc. Leandro Haxhi an audit and accounting practice in Albania named H&H Auditors.
2009
H&H becomes member of Baker Tilly International, a top ten accountancy network, and changes name to Baker Tilly Albania.
2010
The firm announces that from October 2017 Ms. Orjana Kalaja will be the new CEO of the firm as Mr.Haxhi steps down as CEO due to his appointment as Deputy Minister of Finance & Economy. The firm is represented by 10+ people and has a clear growth strategy.
2017
After 10 successful year, Baker Tilly Albania leaves the Baker Tilly International network and joins Nexia International, the 9-th largest global accountancy network. The firm changes name and trades as NEXIA AL.

2021
A short history of Nexia International
A new global accounting network was established under the name S&O International by two firms: Oppenheim Appel Dixon & Associates, USA and Spicer & Pegler, UK. In the financial sector these two founding firms had the majority of clients, more than all the other firms put together.
1960
The network changes its name to Nexia International. Nexia was chosen because of its fairly close derivations from Latin and Greek – ‘nexus’ signifying the idea of a link or of being next.
1993
Nexia International launches a new brand identity.
The new symbol in the logo represents the carabiner that mountaineers use to secure themselves as they work as a team, putting their trust in each other as they climb up the mountain face.
2016
Nexia International, is delighted to announce that according to the latest International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) World Survey, the network has risen one place since last year to become the 9th largest global accounting network.
2018
Nexia International ranks as the 9th largest business advisory and accounting network with combined revenues of US$ 4,3 billion, represented with 258 member firms across the world, with 727 offices in 122 countries.
2020
Nexia International ranks as the 8th largest business advisory and accounting network with combined revenues of US$ 4,5 billion, represented with 270 member firms across the world, with 790 offices in 125 countries.

A brief history of our progression
The firm was established in 2009 as an audit and accounting practice in Albania named H&H Auditors by two distinguished sole-practitioners, Mr.Elton Haxhi and Prof.Doc. Leandro Haxhi. Since then it is a registered audit firm with the Institute of Authorized Chartered Accountants of Albania (IEKA), registration No.166, dated 30.07.2009.
In 2010, H&H Auditors becomes member of Baker Tilly International and changes name to Baker Tilly Albania.
After ten successful years of membership with Baker Tilly International, on November 2020 the firm changed the global network from Baker Tilly International and joined Nexia International which has a greater global presence and higher global ranking.
